    It was.

Alkmaar reached the Semi finals and were unbeaten at home in a long time

Inter were a part time Andorran side.

We had probably the best a result of Scottish clubs in Europe last season, hibs had one of the worst results of all time for a Scottish club, maybe only Celtic v Lincoln Red imps trumping it

    No comparison

If folk want to get their jollies laughing at this kind of stuff then fine, personally I'm going to wait until we are no longer a banter club ourselves before giving any kind of f*ck about this. Honestly never even knew the game was taking place til I read about it on this thread.

Rubbish we got pumped 7-1. It was 1-0 us at half time. You should get a job for the government at Holyrood or Westminster you would make a great spin doctor.😄

It's not spin, we beat AZ Alkmaar at home 1-0 and it was probably the best single result for a scottish club last season, despite what happened in alkmaar (Birighitti the main culprit for the scoreline)

The result in the second game was poor but not a comparison with losing to an Andorran side, even if we lost by double figures, and it's a fact based on Co efficient Hibs one is only equalled by Celtic v the red imps and it was quite pleasing

Seem to remember Hibs losing 7 - 0 at home to Malmo. Got to be up there with the worst results.

Thought you blamed Ross for Alkmaar? Now it's Birighitti?

That David Gray must be due a testimonial soon the amount of games he will have been in charge as caretaker manager.

    😄
Hibs second leg tonight. Will be interesting to see if Villa go easy or go for utter destruction.
