    Queens v Alloa

OK, - that's the League Cup over for another year, - but now we need to concentrate on getting out of this league.

Falkirk and Hamilton will clearly be our main challengers, - but Stirling might be the surprise package.

Alloa up first, - and as always they will be no pushovers. Marvin will need to ensure that the players treat every game with the utmost respect, - but from what I've seen so far, - that is a 'given.'

Come on Queens, - lets get a cracking start under our belts, - a good few points on the board and bring the punters back to Palmerston.

People don't want to hear bleating hearts, they want the sound of positivity reverberating around the ground.

A good start to the season is ***** I’d say if we want to make a proper challenge this year. We’re in a better position under Marv than oor Wullie IMO.
His professionalism is 2nd to none.

A good start to the season is better than a poor one. Marvin's philosophy prime is to be fiitter than the opposition and clearly he achieving this goal but now we have to see if he has the guile as a manager to be better than the rest. I think, listening to the guy, he is very different and special so consequently very much look forward to the season ahead . Mon the South 👏👏

If we play as good as we did against Motherwell and Queens Park, then three points should be in the bag. 5 goals scored against teams in a higher league. Alloa on the back of a 6 goal walloping. Get in there Queens!!

Hopefully a good attendance on the back of a promising League Cup campaign but the game is up against the Dumfries Show where many 1,000s attend and with Dumfries Trades fortnight holidays over tomorrow (Friday) fans might have other places to spend their hard - earned cash in the current financial position. - come on Queens !

Marvin's worried about Alloa on the back of a 6 goal hiding, - he should be more concerned about how to strike fear into the entire Alloa team, - not about the potential back-lash

As Papa suggests, - let's set our stall out as we did against Motherwell, - and fight for every ball until the last whistle. Few teams will be able to live with that intensity.

Looking forward to Marvin's post match interview as Alloa didn't have to work for any of their goals as we appeared to gift them all. The team were lacklustre and sloppy appearing tired.
