Tony Stewart sold us down the pan again

Made a couple off loan and free signings now our budget is lower.

So lower we have put in a revised offer for a 37 year old freebie who didn't accept our first offer. (Billy sharp)

    Are we that desperate .

Or the alternate view could be we've invested wisely in bringing in younger more hungry prospects and have now come to our senses over what Billyboy is really worth to us moving forward?

Without doubt "attention seeking" describes WLB to a tee.

I have already been into BetFred to get my money on WLB opening a new thread of his own within 2 hours of full time on Saturday despite the fact that everyone else will be posting on the Post Match Thoughts thread.

I forgot to add, I love the fact the club have told him, that he can come but you took so long to decide we can only offer less money, mt is tuned into what the club is and what TS can do, that is so refreshing to hear from the manager. Let money bags Derby have him, seems that warne still can’t do anything without looking to see what the best club he will ever manage are doing.

Speaking of BetFred & Co, bearing in mind the upsets that we tend to see eary season, there seem to be some decent odds out there-
Birmingham seem to have spent well - 17/5 to win (13/5 draw) at troubled, turbulent Swansea
Millwall similar odds at Middlesboro (who start the season without Akpom), as are Huddersfield at new boys Plymouth
We're 5/1 to win at Stoke (3/1 the draw), same as coventry at Leicester
Blackburn are 2/1 to beat W Brom at home when both teams seem to be beset with problems
Hull seem to have recruited well but are 4/1 to win at Norwich (3/1 the draw)
But maybe the best value, Cardiff have done somehwat speculative business but away at Leeds who are missing 9 injured first are offered at 7/1 (4/1 the draw)
tempted to stick a tenner each way on all those
if my maths is right a tenner treble on Birmingham & Bristol city to win and us to draw at Stoke pays 14/1?

I was kind of right so far - Birmingham, Millwall, Blackburn paid off but Hull & Huddersfield didn't & the treble failed on every leg
Gives you back your stake and enough to buy a couple of pints....
Let's see if Cardiff or Coventry get anything today - I have a good bad feeling about Sky Blues this year - without Gyokeres, they might be keeping us, Wednesday, QPR, Plymouth, Huddersfield & West Brom company - I can see Swansea in the mix too - no idea about Cardiff, Boro or Hull this time around

I reckon that Leeds, Leicester & Southampton will romp this league, while Bristol City, Watford & Preston look decent play-off challengers & we made Stoke look good yesterday. Millwall, Norwich, and Birmingham should also be at least comfortably mid-table

It's going the right way,” Taylor said. “It's just a matter of time now. We're just waiting for the news to come through that what we need is there, then the transfer can happen.”

The Millers are paying Liberec a significant fee to land Tiehi. A work permit is required because he's an overseas player who doesn't hold a British passport. —————————————-.

    Class significant.

Is it 1 million plus Tony Stewart said we would break in the Steve Evans era??

Interview I just read Mt said we are still 7 players short but need to sell before we bring in.

The fact that we even put a secound offer in for sharpe saids how desperate we are.
