I know I'm slacking and should have a standing order for this one but last night James Tavernier grabbed his customary penalty in Rangers' 2-1 at home to Servette in the Champions League.

A busy day for those that once (or more than once) puller on a Millers' shirt. Well done to Cheo who made his Premiership debut when coming on as a sub for Luton who went down 4-1 at Brighton with another ex-Miller Carlton Morris getting their consolation from the penalty spot.

In the Championship, Smudge got a late consolation as the Owls went down 4-2 at Hull. Semi Ajayi and Jonathan Swift both scored for WBA as they beat Swansea 3-2. In L1 Connor Washington scored as Derby won 3-0 in their local lower league derby at Burton and Sam Hoskins continued his form from last season with the Cobblers but his goal was in vain as they went down 2-1 at Wigan.

In L2, Jamie Proctor got the winner as Barrow staged a late comeback to beat Sutton 2-1 and Richard Wood scored but unfortunately at the wrong end as Donny were hammered 4-0 at Newport. In the NL our old mate Will Grigg popped up to score one as the Spireites won 4-2 at AFC Fylde.

A busy day, I'm sure I've missed some so feel free to chip in.

Kyle Vassell unused sub for Kilmarnock at the weekend. Club captain there.

Another busy night for ex-Millers headed up by James Tavernier scoring a rare non-penalty goal that gave Rangers the draw they needed against Servette to advance in the CL.

The rest of the action was confined to the English lower leagues. In L1 JCH notched a goal as Posh came back from 1-0 down to beat Barnsley 3-1 at Oakwell and Sam Hoskins scored a late equaliser as the Cobblers salvaged a 2-2 draw at home to Lincoln City. In L2 Anthony Forde scored at the wrong end but Wrexham hung on for their first victory of the league season 4-2 at home to Wallsall. In the NL Will Grigg got the winner as Chesterfield triumphed 2-1 at Oxford City.

In non-goalscoring news, as reported by Brin Mr. Warne's Army went down 2-1 at home to Oxford United, SE's Stevenage continued their good run of form with a 2-1 win at Cambridge and Woody's magic hat can't be working too well as he was dropped as Donny shared the spoils 2-2 at home to Mansfield but they are still in the bottom 2.

Although not an ex-Miller, Joe Ironside, grandson of ex-Millers keeper, Roy, scored the second for Donny Rovers.

3 wins out of 3 for Evo at Stevenage. Could he repeat back to back promotions with them?
