United are not back.
No firepower in this side whatsoever.
Review of that game:
After Arbroath you want to maintain momentum and keep the confidence going.
You know as well that you have to break teams down in this league.
We did neither. Second half much better than the first and although overall the team performance was, lets face it, poor, a good teams grinds results regardless of how they play.
The last time we were down here that 95th minute equalizer wouldnt have happened.
So thats a positive, we played badly yet still picked up points.
However, coming off the back of Arbroath this result will either act as a wake up call or turn out to be the United we will see the rest of the season.
Jurys out for me until 5 games in when we start to see patterns emerge. Next game is 2 weeks away so no excuses have to go to Ayr and get 3 points.
I really hoped at home after last week we'd win today and build momentum. We did at least take a point today.
Overall: disappointed
Still not clinical enough in the final third. Still have time to change it though! Will we learn lessons from the past few seasons?
We really missed Docherty.
Saying that, we never created anything for Moult which is disappointing.
Wee Cudjoe can be frustrating to watch but he kept at it and wow, great equaliser.
Great turn out from the fans, well done to all.
Lacking genuine pace in the wide areas. Middleton again just far too predictable and not offering enough. We missed Docherty. Freeman garbage again was a blessing he went off. Grimsbaw is a right back and not a centre midfielder.
We need a wide player with genuine pace and another centre midfielder. Team's are going to come and play like Dunfermilne all season, time waste like **** and play a back 5.
We need a deputy for when Docherty or Sibbald aren't available.
Attendance 8892
Healthy crowd when you consider only 500 Pars fans. Over 8k Arabs is a good number
