Thanks for that howdy - as you say a truly shocking story and one I hadn't seen. I can't imagine how the parents of those babies feel. The final sentence in the article sums it all up,

" Since Letby left the unit, there has been only one death in seven years."

Perhaps we will never know, no doubt we will hear the phrase we will learn lessons.Truly some sad twisted people about.

Appalling case and yet another attempted cover up.
Feel for the Consultants who tried to stop it and parents. This will live with them for the rest of their lives and forever asking themselves if they could have done more

On a side issue how much has this cost the taxpayer. It’s being going on for 8 years or more and there was a 9 month trial
X millions that could have been spent on saving babies not killing them

The NHS seems to be run more for the benefit of the staff than for the benefit of the patients and here we see the consequences.

Knee jerk reaction and I have been guilty of this in my past posts.

Who knows truly how the human brain works and what we are born with?

We are all brought up via parenting, very important, to schooling, how to hopefully behave in a modern society. The flaw is how the human brain connects with electrical impulses to make us want to kill. No one is born and programmed to kill and Lucy Letby, heaven knows how, decided to take up her heinous crimes.

Yes, let’s hang her then what? Does it make the next probable Lucy Letby not appear?

Truly as a parent who suffered at her hands, I would pull the lever myself but first I would want a 1 on 1 to explain to me personally as to why she murdered my child.

Mate, if people are wired wrong and commit murder, just get rid. Spend time helping people that really deserve it I reckon.
