Conflicting reports say he's signed and will be playing tomorrow.

I am confused . Sky Sports said he had signed a one year loan deal with obligation to purchase. What is the truth?

Sky now reporting terms agreed between Burnley and Chelsea but Maatsen has not decided yet whether to go. Permanent fee reported at £31 million, I can't imagine Burnley paying that.

Hell's Bells. That's one heck of a gamble if we are obliged in 12 months to pay £31.5m.It also bumps up our wages bill.

I cannot understand how we are prepared to pay 31M for Maatsen, but were not interested in Tella for 20M. While I liked Maatsen I thought as a defender Taylor was better in defence, yet Maatsen was better than Taylor going forward.

Just got out of bed in the middle of the night in Chiang Rai to get the last-day transfer news. And it seems there isn't any. Is that correct: no signings? Although now I check the UK time, there is still 85 minutes left. Jumped the gun!
