    Heads Turned Before Solihull Away

Williams suggests that the January deadline day of last season turned a couple of players heads, and the performance at Solihull away wasn’t great because of this.

Anyone remember who played badly that day?

Don’t remember the performance but 2 of our most saleable assets were Ruben and Macca. Palmer had not long committed to a longer term contract, so wouldn’t have thought it was him.

That was the 2-1 game with two pens by Ruben right? Think it was a bit of a smash and grab from memory

I think it was Kairo Mitchell did you see the way we waved to the crowd at the end? George Burleigh had finally given up on Lee Hughes and was in for him.

Seeing as everyone except Ruben eventually re-signed, and even Macca was very happy to sign an extension, it's hard to imagine who might have had their head turned

The body of Christ compelled them to stay put.

If it was Ruben, he will now be turning his head watching the game from the bench..
