I remember the Alamo, great wee pub. I never touched the pies but they were giving out free half’s when I was there. You wouldn’t get away with that flag in the window now. Simpler times

I never touched the pies either, I watched Brochred trying to eat one though.

Not quite up to the standard of that cheap lunchtime curry outside Fir Park.

What was wrong with the flag in the window.

As far as I can remember it was all American confederate flags.

The Battle Flag of the Army of Northern Virginia. Often (wrongly) referred to as the ‘Stars & Bars’. Culturally appropriated by right wing Christofacists & now frowned upon. It’s a bit of a shame as I refuse to believe Bo & Luke Duke & Bo Darville were Nazis.

    "simpler times" you say.
Sometimes I think it's only your times that are complicated.

Either way, I'd rather think of Daisy Duke than her brothers.

Daisy was said to be their cousin, although in rural Georgia she could have been their sister as well I suppose.

Used to love Dukes of Hazzard and Baywatch. They has a “common theme” and it wasn’t just because both were screened on Saturday nights!
