    Mo Sylla

Yesterday it was announced on the Dundee FC website that we have signed Mo Sylla from Hartlepool United paying an undisclosed transfer fee for him. https://dundeefc.co.uk/news/sylla-joins/

I enclose an article by the Hartlepool FC Sporting Director which explains everything. https://www.hartlepoolmail.co.uk/spo...ielder-4214639
According to the article Hartlepool were wanting to recoup their outlay whe they purchased him from Aldershot Town FC. According to the article two clubs showed interest in signing him but after carrying out their own due diligence Hartlepool United never heard any more from them.
In my opinion it is worrying that Sylla apparently ‘downed tools’ towards the end of last season and never returned for the start of pre season training this season.
If correct then Sylla is unlikely to be ready to sit on the subs bench let alone play in the first team.
I hope that the management of Dundee Football Club have not squandered money paying a transfer fee for Mo Sylla.
