Part of the problem has been inconsistency of good performances from many and consistency of poor performances from a few.

In that order head and shoulders above any of the others.
A distant 3rd Langstaff but he's missed good chances in important games
Macari next as he seldom has a bad game.
The rest too inconsistent to make my pick

He's also scored 26 goals in important games.

I think it hard to name 5 top performers. Crowley top, followed by Jones. Macca is doing well but not as consistent as last year. Then Robertson and I think I might have Jatta in the list - not that many games but certainly been interesting.
