I had to check out the Ant Man Bee reference but seems you are a Zappa fan Joy/Wazoo? Recently watched a documentary on him and the phrase "from the glorious to the impenetrable " seems pretty apt! I know everyone is supposed to rate albums like Hot Rats or One Size Fits All , but personally I quite enjoy Live at the Filmore East especially the way it moves from the tale of the "mud shark" to the cheesy cover of Happy Together. Somehow, can't see such an album being made in these woke-ish times. Ah, the seventies...😂

Yes mate, late 60's early 70's. Never got into all that glam rock stuff or that New Romantics malarkey. Preferred the American West and East coast scenes. I quite liked Punk when it arrived but preferred what it morphed into as New Wave. Liked a lot of 80's stuff though such as The Psychedelic Furs and the original line up of The Waterboys, The Sound, Echo and The Bunnymen etc. I am obsessed with music.
