O/T Jonnie Irwin passes

A truly likeable guy. Presented very well, loved and adored by many viewers.

His Instagram announcing his death said he touched "the lives of so many with his kindness, warmth and infectious spirit".

He leaves behind a Wife and a young family. Against all the odds he was given six months of life but survived for two years such was his spirit to live on.

I enjoyed many a program hosted by Jonnie.

I quite liked him but funnily enough my Mrs. couldn't stand him and wouldn't watch ETTC when he was the presenter. She thought he was too pushy and made it too much about him.

Jonnie Irwin was a top presenter on The Place in The Sun, & other programmes,
he fought his illness bravely, having a wife & very young children.
Television company said they could not get travel insurance to cover him, when
filming abroad, so wrong to chuck him off presenting.
