Reflecting on the shambles of yesterday, where it took us until 10 minutes before the end of the match to get a shot on target, it was probably the worst we’ve ever played in a local derby.
That was on top of the shambles at home to Bristol City two weeks ago, so is there any hope of a turn around in form?
This week we have 20th place QPR away on Tuesday and next Saturday 23rd place Sheff Wed. Minimum four points required if we are to start clawing our way back up the table.
We are in 22nd place with two points from eigh****, and four consecutive defeats including the Cup game. Our confidence is rock bottom with no leadership on or off the field.
It can only get better surely. We have the players good enough individually but can Duff get them playing as a team. The answer is no so far and the clock is ticking.
QPR lost at home 1-3 to Sunderland yesterday but they have two wins and six points under their belt, four more points than us.
Expect some changes with Cabango, Ashby and Humphreys ready to bolster the defence.

Rangers 1 (Dykes 91’) - Swans 1 (Ginnelly 7’)
So frustrating, leading for 84 minutes, we just couldn’t get that second one for a safety cushion and the inevitable happened.
A game of few chances, one on target for the hoops equalled one goal.
Rangers had us beat on the wings with their tricky players and that’s how their goal was scored, sub Dykes getting in front of Cabango for yet another of their crosses to loop a fine header into the net.
An improved performance but still not good enough to win a football match as we languish at the bottom of the table on 3 points out of a possible 21 over 7 games.

It feels like a defeat after leading for most of the match.
We couldn’t cope with their wingers and Dykes is well known for his aerial prowess.
He scored with a brilliant header at the end to spoil what would have been our first win of the season.
We played well for the first twenty minutes then reverted to hoof-ball, losing possession regularly.
It was inevitable that QPR would score as we sat back and defended our lead instead of going for the second goal.
Surprisingly we started with a straight back-four giving us the extra man in midfield. It worked until we sat back on our lead and let them come at us.
QPR were no great shakes and haven’t won at home for yonks, two points dropped here methinks, making Saturday’s game v Sheff Wed even more crucial to get 3 points.

No end to the torture boys in this horrible season under Duff.
Why we sat back on a one goal lead I don’t know.
The squad is better than this, it’s got to be down to the manager and his tactics or lack of them because I can’t see any shape on us at all.
It’s like eleven individuals on the field that have only just met up in the car park before the game.
For me he’s got to go, he’s taking us down to League One
