Blimey! I'd forgotten that Bob but it got a smile out me again.
TBH it was Manure's U21's captained by a lad who was on loan with us last season but even though we played with a depleted team and stuck on a couple of our own kids it was a proper "boys against men" affair so we didn't get too carried away. Still it was enjoyable and entertaining as there were a few cracking goals in there - but of course we had some fans whingeing about it being a Mickey Mouse competition. Eight goals, some quality footie - there's no pleasing some folk.
