Formally Fitzroy Lions and Brisbane Bears had a merger back in 1996(first game 1997) and for me personally i was a Fitzroy Tragic, and i lived in Brisbane, so as much as i was gutted, it turned out to be a blessing...
We won the coveted premiership with a threepeat effort 2001,2002,2003 and this is a first return to the big dance..
