    Dens buy back

Now that Dens is in the hands of DBPH, who I believe also own the proposed new stadium site at Camperdown, are we a step closer to the old girl being sold off and ground sharing elsewhere?

    Tannadice?

Why would they not stay playing at dens until the new stadium is finished tho?
Would lose fans and money at a ground share surely?
Canna believe the campy stadium is dependent on sale of dens.
Most fans are cynical due to time since initial plans years ago.
Sad to move if it happens but let's be honest dens is a **** hole now.

That would be the ideal scenario of course. However with talk of the Shankly and Cox being dismantled and the steel re-used in any new stadium along with the probability that cash from the sale of the land that Dens Park stands on would be needed to help fund any new stadium it just seems very likely that we could be looking at some time ground sharing. Hopefully that time would be short.

Yes Dens is a **** hole, but that's down to the club owners' deliberate neglect of it. If we move to a new stadium I'm sure they'd take more care of it and the fans would grow to be as proud of it as we once were of Dens.

Pretty much and just have to build a 2 sided ground if they wanted to for a while.

And when the yanks leave how much will rent be........numerous unanswered questions and these questions will probably never be answered.

We are going to be homeless for how long and whether it's temp or permanent is now entirely in the yanks hands

Good thing is Linda never ****s up.🙄

The yanks would be better spending their money repairing the holes in the roof of the Main Stand where Dundee supporters got wet at the Motherwell game.
It is a very sad state of affairs that Dundee Supporters siting in part of the Main Stand have take an umbrella with them when it is raining to keep dry thanks to our owners neglect of the Dens Park Stadium.

It was stated over a year ago that tje new stadium at Campy Nou would cost Dundee Football Club £40 million to build.
There is no way that the new stadium at Campy is dependent on the sale of Dens Park.
It is more likely to be used as a bargaining chip to try to force all the Dundee City Councillors on the Planning Committee to grant full planning permission for the new stadium.
Purchasing Sandeman Properties Limited from John Bennett will have cost a tidy sum of money as the Dens Park Stadium was valued in the Sandeman Properties Limited annual accounts for the year ending 31st July 2022 at £1,500,000. (Source Companies House).
I enclose the fling history for Sandeman Properties Limited. https://find-and-update.company-info...filing-history

There is no guarantee that DBPH if they manage to get planning permission will actually build the new stadium at Campy Nou.
They might sell the land which will be lot more valuable with full planning permission for a Football stadium, crematorium, hotel, shops and housing than it is as a piece of waste ground with no planning permission for anything.
We can only hope that John Bennett has put a restriction in place when he sold Sandeman Properties Limited to DBPH that they cannot sell Dens Park to a third party until the new stadium is built in the former NCR Camperdown grounds and ready for use.

Sit in the Main Stand. Never ever noticed anyone with an umbrella up.
