The lack of one player who can turn a match though is so clear!! Forget the pen - we gave away a shocking second and furlong missed an open goal!

FFS! Was just going to say I'd be happy with a draw but no chance now😞

Much as we can all moan and rant (rightly) about the penalty and bossed large parts of the game we haven't made the most of our chances and are still guilty of not moving forward quite quickly enough or closing down quickly enough. Despite a poor run, Blues clearly have some decent players that caused us problems tonight.

I can't complain at all tonight. The performance deserved 3 points. 3-1 is very flattering to a poor Blues performance. We are doing ok, I'm pretty confident that Carlos has got us firing well. Just a bad day at the office.

Dominated the game. But the same problem is there for all to see, go behind and we’re pretty clueless and toothless up front, Asante gives 100% but is getting worse with every game

Agreed, certainly nothing to deserve a yellow card, Blues players doing far worse than that when we took corners. I really hope that we can put Blues in their place and give them a good hammering when they come to the Hawthorns.

Once again, we are far too slow in the build up. What the hell are Kipre and Bartley doing just tip tapping around at the back when we are behind. This slow pace must come from instructions from the manager.

On this showing-brief as it was-think we may be seeing more of him.

Following our recent performances, a disappointing game but regardless of the penalty decision, it highlights our on going issues. The Preston game showed that, even with the lack of a natural goal scorer as a target man, we do have goals in the team but whilst our midfield in particular were energetic and instrumental in that match, Preston (despite their league position) played their part by being woeful defensively. Against a better Blues side, tonight we looked -as BS points out-pretty toothless again. Still some positives with Kipre having a generally good game and Fellows looking promising but Yokuslu faded after his recent much improved return to form and Wallace to me had little impact.

Having shown they can play better, tonight we once again didn't move forward quite quickly enough to create anything and at the same time didn't close down sharply enough which gave Blues the space to break too easily.

Not all doom and gloom as anyone seems to be able to beat pretty much anyone else in the Championship but still much to work on. Hope Swift is ok and that Yokuslu back to form next match.

And now I have to face the inevitable call from my Dad (Blues fan)! 😞😀
