I’ve a bit of sympathy for Bartley regarding the injury situation but this winless run needs to stop quickly but I’ve absolutely no idea how that’s going to happen.
Arbroath will turn up this weekend and beat us easily then we go into the Solway Coast Derby match in a real downer. If any Queens player can’t get motivated for that then they don’t deserve to pull on the jersey ever again.

Worrying times ahead & I think the BOD may have to make a major decision very soon.

First quarter of the season and we’ve only 9 points from 27 compared to 10 points from 27 under Wullie Gibson last season.

    I live in hope.

Arbroath will be tough, - but Annan could be tougher!

This should be looked upon by the management and players as the opportunity to change our season..............positively!

Still can’t believe a talent and game changer like Lewis Gibson can’t get a regular start for Queens ( unless injured )?

Good old Marvin had the players in after training yesterday and made them watch all their mistakes so far in a near two hour meeting. This seems to be a regular occurrence on a Monday now.
Needs to be very careful he doesn’t lose the dressing room here , that’s if he hasn’t already

There is a danger of reinforcing mistakes with such a long session. It's important to go over problem areas, but only if you invite the players to suggest how they could have done things better and suggest alternatives if better ones are available. .....that motivates players to think, rather than be dictated to, and ultimately react better to match day situations.

Not sure his man management skills are too great with certain players.

This may, - or may not be the case.

At 37, - he is still a very young manager with a lot of life still to live.

He is passionate about what he believes in and has exceptionally high standards, - and he expects his players to have the same exacting standards, - which is unrealistic. Marvin may have to tone down his expectations and encourage others to leap over a slightly lowered bar.

The problem is exacerbated by fan's expectations, - leading to an ever hyped level of demand and a vicious circle which could lead to burnout.

As mentioned, - a wee break from the league will do the team a lot of good and lets hope that it brings a change of luck.
