    Tabs to score first goal
    Formation 3-5-2

Fingers crossed that Chris Long is available

Going for a 2-2 draw tomorrow. Looking forward to going there for the first time although I believe that it is not the most salubrious of grounds to visit.

This is where things started to go horribly wrong last season. 3-0 defeat and a red card for Sambou.
However, we're much better equipped this season, even if we were to lose. Not that I believe we will, necessarily.
Some of it relies a little on Long being available.
They have won their last 2.
Not sure whether we should score first as we seem to have problems when we do.
    Anyway going for 1-1 draw.
    Nev to score.

Anyone going? I've got my ticket but a double vaccination on Thursday has knocked me back so I probably won't be going (I missed last season's match through illness as well - must be allergic to the Ammies!)

    #MeForCrewe is going Gazan ...

Someone I knew also wasn't feeling well after having a 'double-jab' last week - hope you're feeling better soon.

    One change, Long out ...

    ... Replaced by Holicek

This 'could' work in our favour

Not sure of the thinking with Holicek. Is he in in midfield in a 5-3-2 or is he upfront in a 5-2-3?
Possibly a bit of both as he is classed as an attacking midfielder.
Is Williams up to marking tricky wingers? At least playing wingback he has Mickey D behind him.
I assume O'Riordan will try to match Smith inch for inch.

Playing a much more restricted game. Mind you Salford remind me of Bradford in their slow build up. The goal has come after a long period of Salford possession. A good break with numbers.

Shades of last season at the moment with the slow passing at the back and the inevitable aimless long ball.
    Got to change it.
