    FA Cup

4th qualifying round this weekend so the draw for 1st round proper will also be made Sunday/Monday. There are lots of intriguing possibilities: Leek; Chester: Oldham; Nantwich. For me there's Alty; Avro(!); Curzon Ashton; Rochdale.
🤞for some of these teams to get through and draw the Alex.
It would be nice for the Alex to at least get through to the 3rd round. We need a cup run.
Hopefully with reference to recent years in the League Cup we don't draw someone like Peterboro away.

my preference - Derby away, coz ...

Not too far to travel, and ground very close to railway station
    Large crowd, decent gate receipts
Can take large number of fans
    and
Good chance picked as a game for the Tele

Oh, and I think we could win the replay

Chester for me. They have to beat Hartlepool first.
    Altrincham is my 2nd pick.

ah well, nearly got it right ...

Personally I would much rather play a team in a higher division, than a non-league (banana-skin) side ...

Think it stands a very good chance of being on the TV
Derby will fill the away fan section - guaranteed
    Great atmosphere

And who's to say that we won't win the replay
