    Burnley Women season 2023/24

After some new signings and a change of manager they are like we were last season.

They won at Halifax tonight 2-0. I saw the second half on TikTok which was a first. Big game on Sunday away at Newcastle who haven't dropped a point yet but played only 4 games.

Good luck to the women. They are doing the club proud. Hopefully, they will get promoted this season.

They are in the Women’s National League North so next step up would I think be to the Championship and after that the WSL.

Is it the aim to get into the WSL, is that the long term plan, or are we just on a good run as sometimes happens ? Has JJ's missus any input into this, she was a US International I believe, or is her arrival on the scene purely co-incidental ?

I think it is the long term plan hence the change of manager and new signings in the close season even though we came third last season, just 2 points adrift of the title. I think I also read that she (JJ's missus) stated an intention to get involved though I can't substantiate that.
