    Fri 06/Nov/2009 v BRADFORD CITY 4,213 won 2-1
    Fri 03/Nov/2017 v BRISTOL ROVERS 4,228 won 4-2

We've played 12 home FA Cup ties on a Sunday, the last two against Accy and Posh in 2014 and 2016 attracting crowds of less than 4k, though the Posh tie was towards the end of the Trew/John Sheridan era.
Did we not play Oxford City at home on a Friday night in 2019 won 4.2 Yates scored the 4th ?

Oxford City was a Saturday 12.30pm KO, won 3-2 (Duffy, Stead(pen), Grant)
Yates scored twice in the previous round which was the Friday night 4-2 v Bristol Rovers.

Was there for the Portsmouth game who played in their change strip of unusual red shirts with 2 white stripes down the left side front, white shorts.
There home colours were white shirts with 2 blue stripes, blue shorts, very natty for the time.

Toffs do a replica of it ^

Ian St John was Pompey's manager, the first time a 3rd round tie had been brought forward from the traditional Saturday KO - on the insistence of the police due to the sharp rise in crowd trouble at the time.
Peter Marinello scored for them, once touted as the next George Best, the hype earning him a guest appearance on Top of the Pops when he moved to Arsenal.

Your memory/knowledge of things that happened like nearly 50 years ago is incredible.

Didn't he go from Arsenal to Portsmouth along with George Graham? Can remember them also signing rep of Ireland defender Eion Hand, good signings on paper but flops.

Yes, Hibs to Arsenal to Portsmouth. George Graham was also in the 11 that night.
Marinello didn't want to leave Hibs, it was the clubs' decision. He says his biggest regret was scoring a fancy solo goal on his Arsenal debut at a televised game at Man Utd that started the comparison with Best and his career went downhill from there.

Barnsley kicked out of the competition for fielding an illegible player.

The team they beat - Horsham - go through to round 2 instead.
