Time for a US investment fund to buy them Glazer style, using the clubs own money to buy the club, leveraged by huge debts

This could mean Sheik Jassim goes in for another club in the Prem, and propels another team to be mixing it up in the Top 4/5.

At some point Man Utd will sort their sh!t out, they have the global revenue to do it.

Be interesting to see what kind of price Sir Jim pays for 25% if that comes off.

They do, but each year they go without winning, it drops a little.

    They deserve a vulture capitalist.

A quote from Red Cafe forum. "we don't need any financial support we're not a tiny garbage club like Newcastle"

of course they don't need any financial support.

Despite having the highest net spend -£1.39 billion -out of any European club over the last decade...but, aye, they don't need financial support

You have to understand the Psychology of the Qatari Elite.

They Purchases PSG as it is Paris, has the Eiffel Tower as their emblem. It's a Trophy asset.
They own and built the Shard in London. They are heavily invested in the Hudson Yards development in NYC
They see Man U as the same status.

The only other clubs they would consider would be Ar$enal & Liverpool.
Outside push Spuds (due to London location and great stadium - not as a winning club) & at maybe West Ham as they've just won something in Europe.

However, most likely, if at all it'll be Gooners, I don't see Kroenke selling up after turning the Spotify owner down outright. Or, the Bin dippers, however, again I don't see FSG giving up the rats nest for anything approaching a reasonable price.

Very true because the Glazers have spent a fortune on players and managers. So, what exactly is the problem with the Glazers? (Or is it just toys out the pram coz the team’s sh*t since Ferguson left?)

    Precisely this Topster!

They have known unrealistic success due to Fergi's ability to manipulate officials and the club outspending every other during the 90s to buy title after title.

Now they are matched in the spending and their subsequent managers have not had the same hold of the match day officials.
