Are Forest looking to replace Nuno Espirito Santo already??
They've denied it, but they've apparently already approached a replacement:

Nottingham Forest are said to have made a stunning approach for Maurizio Sarri.

Sarri resigned as Lazio manager earlier this month, after five defeats in six matches, with Lazio in ninth place in Serie A and knocked out of the Champions League. And the Reds are said to have contacted the Italian days later about taking charge at the City Ground.

Transfer expert Alfredo Pedulla claims Forest offered Sarri a three-year deal to replace Nuno Espirito Santo, promising the former Chelsea boss money to spend in the summer transfer window if the club stays in the Premier League. But Sarri is understood to have turned them down as he plans to take a break before returning to management next season.

Nuno has been in charge of Forest since December, replacing Steve Cooper, and has won four, drawn five and lost eight of his first 17 matches at the helm. There is no suggestion the Reds are looking to replace him. They are currently in the relegation zone in the Premier League, having been deducted four points.

They were sanctioned for breaching the Premier League’s financial rules, which plunged them into the drop zone with only nine matches left to play this season. Forest launched an appeal against the points deduction on Monday, confirming the decision in the statement which read: “Nottingham Forest can confirm that it has today lodged an appeal against the four point sanction imposed by the Commission in relation to the Club’s breach of the Premier League’s Profit & Sustainability Rules (PSR).

“The club will not be making any further statement at this time.”

"No club has ever drawn its way to safety, something had to change"

"I’ve only been watching York for 4 seasons but the Dorking game was the worst I’ve seen them play. No urgency, no plan, no effort and no clue. Players need to shoulder the responsibility but Ardley not blameless and seemed powerless to change games when things were not working."

"Correct decision, results aside the football we were playing was just awful to watch"

"I was sick of hearing about fitness levels and we lack quality. He signed 7 players and was no better than what we had"
I agree that NA haas just done average , but in fairness no offense to York City but survival or at best mid table in the NL seems to be the most they can expect
Na history is interesting , he started quite well with Wimbledon everntually getting them to L1 through the play offs, its then when things started to go wrong for Ardley, all he had to do was keep Notts in L2 having started 7 points above the troubled Macclesfield , something we all know that he failed to do
After that you could say that he was a bit unlucky, first that the 19/20 season was pulled just as we were getting on a run moving into the last 10 games ,then losing in the final to Harragate on that day Notts just did not turn up and were 2 behind early on , then NA lost another final with Solihull Motors, to lose 2 National league finals a bit harsh, since then done mediocre at a mediocre club like York
So it now looks unlikely that NA will ever get anything above NL , despite having a good start with Wimbledon , and then having should kept Notts in the EFL, and failing 2 cracks at getting clubs to the EFL in Notts and Solihull
