It was a nervous last five minutes once again, as Bournemouth tried hard for an equaliser that they did not really deserve. Garry O'Neil must have had a rye smile on his face as the final whistle went, after the shocking treatment he suffered in the hands of the new owners.

A scrappy first half saw Wolves concede a sloppy, but well taken goal, after a Neto rocket had bounced of the crossbar. The Wolves Manager must have really had a go at the players during the half time break. They came out early and substitute Doyle soon made his presence felt when he started the move that saw Cunha curl a first time shot into the top corner.

The game then turned in Wolves favour when Cook had a moment of madness, head butting Hwang after the two had tangled in a tackle. Hwang was yellow carded but the red card was brandished at the Bournemouth man. Wolves were playing some well controlled football now, much of it instigated by young Doyle. One piece of play near the home sides corner flag should have resulted in a goal for Neto, who for the second match in succession, blasted over the bar, when composure was needed.

As the clocked towards ninety minutes the introduction of Kalajdzic proved a master stroke. The home keeper tried to play out from the back, and Sasha nipped the ball to Hwang who returned the ball for the Wolves striker to clinically slide the ball in for the winner. Three more valuable points in the bag and eight from the last possible twelve.

I was very impressed by young Doyle who we have an option to buy at the end of the season. A no brainer if he keeps this standard up. Lemina was a big loss in midfield, I see he is top in the premier league for interceptions this season. With Bellegarde and Gomes we have some good cover now in midfield.

Newcastle on Saturday evening will be a tough test but so were Manchester City.
