Its fine upto now around ground itself but there is flooding about.
Station flooding, not sure what happened to work that was suppose to stop that.
Todwick, Whiston, brookhouse, Wickersley, dinnington are reporting flooding,
Sabdbags on way now they are flooding 🙄

Itsmore than standing water for some.

It doesn’t seem too bad now even though its still raining

Work was carried out to stop that, upto now there’s no problem with pitch or around ground

I wouldn’t worry about the welfare of the Ipswich fans
They’re actually a friendly bunch and they commute in large 4 x 4 agricultural machines with substantial tread on the tyres.
If they can cope with the turnip fields of Suffolk then water on tarmacadam surfaces in SY is unlikely to pose any risks
Most of the cabs have aircon, entertainment systems and automated satnav so they’ll be fine

Local school shut due to flash flooding according to neighbour. He went to collect his son- no flooding at all, just a load of gleeful teachers knocking off early.

Yes topsy I know we had work done to try and stop the pitch flooding, which up to now seems to be working, but it's the flooding in the surrounding suburbs that will get the game called off, if indeed it does get called off but I want us to play. UTM

The train station is a joke, abit like the bus station revamp cost loads of money and nothing works right and falling to bits..and nothing done to alleviate flooding when they had chance when the train station was closed for some time either the revamp itself or the train tram installation…

Apparently one of the coach company's bringing Ipswich fans have cancelled them all at the last minute as they aren't able to get the vehicles through the flooding around their depot.

Chief fire officer of Suffolk has told the public not to travel unless absolutely essential. Wonder if that includes coming to Rotherham for a football match
