    They've been trying to build houses on the seven hills (Stubbing Lane), for ages. That will put Greasbrough on red alert in future if this happens.

    This is a particularly disruptive one, as it’s been a slow-moving storm and in some areas water levels will not drop down a great deal for a few days yet . Largely depends on an areas’ overall catchment and just how much rain has yet to work its way down from its upper reaches

    I was out on the bike yesterday with my granddaughter and we even came across a tractor at a 45 degree angle in a ditch where the soaked ground had given way - the driver had ironically moved over to make way for another farm vehicle coming the other way. Thankfully, nobody hurt. Feel for these poor souls whose properties have been badly affected
