Crewe were leading 2-0 against Derby County in the FA Cup last Sunday until Derby equalised with goals in the 89th and 93rd minutes. The replay is next Tuesday. Crewe are currently fifth in the table but trail us by only one point. With Stockport and Wrexham having games against fading Swindon and Gillingham respectively, and Mansfield and Morecambe having easier games on paper than we do, a defeat could see the Magpies drop to sixth. Hopefully, players returning from injury will strengthen our match day squad.
