    The Weather

Theres a large fly zooming around, the sun is out, its warm. We havent had a cold day yet, as far as im concerned its still summer or close to it, it is wet though.

In the old days November was full of freezing gales and icy sleety rain before a calmer but cold december. I expect its cold and wet up there.

I left Monmouth this morning for the drive North in torrential rain. There were floods everywhere but it had just about gone by Tewkesbury and by Worcester it was full sun. It’s gorgeous here and similar to you I had to put a wasp out of the window. And they’ve just opened several “Winter Wonderlands” in Manchester. Strange but true.

If you mean the Christmas Markets Griff, read an article the other day in the Manchester Evening News on 2 hotdogs, 2 pancakes & 4 hot drinks costing about £60…

It said prices had gone up about 20% from last year…
