What difficult run? The quote from Irish about 3 losses in a row was incorrect. 2 losses in the league… won the 2 before that. We won and lost cup games in the last week. So not sure where the BS about poor runs etc is coming from.

    Officials decide the game.

The useless ref was slowing us down all game. We take quick free kicks, why wouldn't he allow them? Why have to wait for the spray routine, and his whistle? Obviously only used to a old-fashioned, static brand of football. So no surprise he did his hamstring trying to keep up. That stopped one our moves as well.

Why didn't a linesman replaces the ref? The 4th official wasn't in the flow of the game, so he should've avoided giving a really marginal, contentious penalty, as his first instincts informed him. After that he lost his head, panicked and gave it anyway. Ditto for the cowardly lino

Between them, that motley crew of four decided the game and that should never happen.

    Crazy end to the game.

We played ok second half without creating a whole deal of chances. Reminded me a bit of Wrexham where we could’ve played all night and not scored. A bit concerned we are becoming a little predictable.

You're right AC, the ref was so slow all game and the 4th official to come on and 30 seconds later gives a penalty which for me was debatable (though others may have had a better view) Then they lost the plot after that. Crewes commentators weren't impressed with the original ref either.

Nevermind, we'll be ok when players are back and Gosling gets upto speed.

Not sure he’s going to over rule the linesman if he’s said it was and maybe the refs unsighted??
The only reason the linesman can give that is if Jones arms were in an unnatural position as he’s so close to the player , I would have to see it again.

I put the phrase "difficult run" in inverted commas for a reason. Two wins and three defeats in the last five is probably the toughest sequence we've had under Williams, but it's hardly a disaster. All of those defeats have come against sides going well alongside us, and we're dealing with quite a list of injuries, short and long term. At worst, it's a bit of a levelling off at this higher level. We just need to keep taking each game as it comes and picking up as many points as we can. Our first season back in the league is still going very well.

We have become far to predictable, any team who ats the high press and goes at us, beats us ! Our midfield is weak and now is the time to go to a 442, as for penno only heard it on radio

Thought JOB was excellent though today.

The only way you're going to see Notts playing 4-4-2 is if we change the Head Coach, and anyone who suggests changing this Head Coach wants sectioning!
