How about a Committee formed by the members of MM? There's a magnificent range of talents on here, a great understanding of the ethos of the club, a deep knowledge of tactics and team selection, keen eyes for potential transfer targets, financial acumen which would assist TS to spend his dosh, ground improvement specialists even catering experts - the list is endless. And to top it all, a general consensus on how the club should be run! What could possibly go wrong?
For every Glenn miller you would also get a gwru..

Richardson and Knill seem to have turned up at every home game. Don't want Richardson but i bet he gets it. Very much the cheap option. If Rowett shows interest (Quarndon is not too far away) i'd go for him but the Jackett opinions went round the management gossip rounds and we are likely to attract the usual out of work suspects.

Whoever comes in will have one of the hardest jobs in football.
    Good luck to him/ her

Looking forward to if we stay up they only stayed because of the points MT already had.

Why is Nigel clough ideal .. what's he ever done ??? Did nothing with Sheffield United at this level .. done nothing with Mansfield.. that I know of.. so what makes him ideal ... because who is dad is ??

I think TS and Nigel Pearson would get on about as well as Germaine Greer and Bernard Manning! I don't think Nigel Pearson can conclude one sentence without a sense of sarcasm been perceived!

Those I wouldn't like to be next Manager:

Gareth Ainsworth - The mans approach to a game, boring, cheating, non inspirational...zzzzzzzz

Nigel Clough - Too long at it and never proven himself

Nigel Pearson - Apparently he has a health problem. That would be non conducive to either party if he was always away from the club.

An old club duo of non proven people who would just be brought in for the cheap option like Sir Richard Wood and Frecks.

Paul Hurst - Too big for him. A great loyal servant to the club but don't let sentiment get in the way.
