As every follower of Wolves knows, last season we struggled to score. At the end of the season we finished in 13th place with 41 points, scoring 31 goals and conceding 58, over the 38 matches.
This season, after 12 matches we sit in 12 place, have scored 16 and conceded 20. The only game we have failed to score in was the first game against Manchester United, and we all know what happened there.
It is very noticeable that we are showing more attacking intent, with several players 'busting a gut' to get into the opposition box. We are creating far more chances than last season, we just need to start putting the chances away.
It is exciting to watch though.
