Thread: Everton

    Everton

Everton have received a 10-point deduction, which will be applied immediately, after being found to have breached the Premier League's financial fair play rules.
But the jammy devils will still survive because the bottom 3 are garbage

Some clubs get the deduction some don’t. That is not really fair play in any way shape or form. Depends which club breaks the rules perhaps.

I hope they don’t come down. It would make it even more difficult for us next season. Providing we don’t get promoted this season. (That is not going to happen is it!).

Amazes me how the some clubs get clobbered and the likes of city who bend the rules escape, not that Everton are a small club but the big / fashionable clubs escape

Leicester,Burnley and Leeds reported to look in suing Eveton.
Leicester,Southhampton and Bournemouth all had small fines for breaching FFP to gain promotion to the Premier league.
villa would have been in trouble if they hadn't beat us in the playoffs and wouldd have had a points deduction .

What a load of old codswallop, the idea that Everton have been punished and put in risk of relegation is just nonsense. They are just two points below the safety line and will survive comfortably. I can’t find the words to describe the Premier League, they who launched the Greed League in the first place! Breaking the rules should incur a real penalty, say, relegation to League Two, so a team would likely lose their best players; such a thing won’t happen, though, as it would set a precedent and the PL wouldn’t want to penalise their rich club mates. The Premier League stinks.

Didn't Juventus get demoted from Seria A some time back for something?
Hardly a fair penalty when one considers the finaciancial reward they received for staying up. It's seems to be quite corrupt really.

In fairness City haven't escaped anything (yet) as they're still under investigation, as are Chelsea.
