As much as a good player Jodi is for us he looked like a little boy lost last night. Probably not all down to him as all the Malta team were knacked after 10 minutes in the 2nd half. He reminded me of the days when we had Woots as a lone striker with no one within 15 yds of him, just isolated, hard to say, but he committed one foul and that was it.
Better days for you at Meadow Lane Jodi and hopefully the Malta side can unearth some support for you.

He would do. Just like Notts would if we played Real Madrid at the Bernabau.
I reckon Malta would struggle in L2.
As poor as England were, they have so many gears they can go through… plus about 6/7 alternatives in the starting line up. Still won 2-0 despite a really poor refereeing display.

Don’t think Jodi is a centre forward especially in a side that doesn’t attack much so would be better left sided midfield where he is coming onto the ball rather than with his back to goal
His best attributes are his dribbling and crossing.
It’s great for him being an international and playing at places like Wembley v England (something to tell the grandkids) plus he comes over as a great guy and doing a great job for us(will be missed today)
