To be fair it should have been addressed pre-season as a lot of us have been saying it’s been blindingly obvious it was our Achilles heel, as much as some people think ‘Recruitment’ is beyond question with the club , IMO it’s been very poor at times with the decisions being made.

Have my instant reaction to the game but likely to be of the knee jerk variety so will leave that to others before giving my views.

Will say now that it was a good atmosphere and vocal support throughout where I was stood in the away end. Very nice new stadium, great away end and top pre-match pub in nearby Earlsfield with both sets of fans mixing well.

It was obvious they thought the defence would hold up ok and they would just improve the attacking end of the pitch. 6th in League suggests it's not been a disaster but we need to strengthen in centre mid, CB and a new goalkeeper to move this team on.

Yet we let in less than Wrexham and I think it was the 2nd best defence and contrast it across the leagues it wouldn’t be too shabby.
The issue is we play out, play high and whilst it creates possession and chances when it goes wrong it looks absolutely awful and that’s what people remember.
Facts are we have a budget, so if we got 2 top quality cbs in then maybe we miss out on a couple out of jones, Mcgoldrick and Crowley.

Exactly what I said, doesn't matter what style you play if you can't be arsed to put the effort in. You ever see man city dropping off in effort at all even against lower based teams? No way, pep would go mental and drop them. Notts players sometimes think they just have to turn up and they'll walk it. This is a worrying character trait and the application you put in isn't something really to be taught, you either give a **** or you don't. This is why this game today has made me so mad, if they can't be ****ing arsed, let us know and we save ourselves 2 hours nevermind the money and time spent by fans who went.

Get a grip Notts, you play football normally once a week and you can't be arsed playing like it means the world to you? Do one then.

After listening to LW post match, they'll sure know about it now.
