Nathan Jones appointed manager of Charlton! How unattractive we must be.

I don't think so. Charlton are a much bigger club than us.

At the moment we aren't even an attractive proposition to most lifelong Millers fans so to a Welshman with a possible phobia of the North if England we had no chance.

    Agree with that
Fabulous ground that isn’t out of place in the prem.
Three times our home support plus they’ve just shown their intent in the transfer window.
In the medium term he’s likely to be far more successful there than with us.
Needs to deliver though because the above could be said of their last few Managers after their ownership troubles

The fee for Connor Coventry is likely to cost around 1.6 million…

And the words “long term deal”for the manager not head coach…

And a team what’s probably bottomed out after a stagnant couple of seasons..

Are probably just a couple of factors that might have persuaded him..

Not sure they have bottomed out quite yet, haven’t won in 14 matches.

There’s a few other facets to that process .boardroom stuff and wranglings of ownership etc…this is what they would hope is the start of the upturn..!.

You are right but how Jones handles bigger clubs wasn't the point I was making.

The point I was making was that Charlton, despite being a division below us, are a bigger club than us and a more attractive proposition than the Millers.
