Plaque at NYS for My Father.

Went to the NYS last week along with my wife, to order a plaque for my Father,
to be placed on the wall at NYS.
With him being one of the original commitee who set up Rotherham United
supporters club, I had to add his name to the wall.
My Father held the very first Mayday blown up cheque for the start of the
promotion to bring in money into the clubs coffers.

Trying to remember some of the other Supporters Club commitee, I know one
was Charlie Smelt, then Big Ron [ not sure his surname was Ashman ], plus
others, I have a picture of the commitee with the Mayday cheque.
i will try & find it out, & hopefully post it.

Don't know about plaques, but your dad and others like him are the bricks that really built our club

Well if they hadn't we might not have had a club to support today and many might be much happier in their life
