They can only come on learning from the likes of Dubs and Pope, as well as having an eye to the future as both seniors are into their 30's

He's 31 - older than you'd think.

We've had a young lad from under 21s on the bench before and around the first team last season.

I don't get the craic with Gillespie, we signed him back in 2020 and I don't think he has played a game for us yet.. bit of a nothing signing from Motherwell for a player who hasnt had the best of careers since we released him in 2008
