    Prediction League - Burnley

Home match against a side that will be in the relegation fight all season. Wolves have conceded inside 10 minutes in three straight games. Can’t keep allowing that to happen. Would be nice to play from ahead for once.

    Wolves 2-1 Burnley

    Hwang

Not the best game of football that we have witnessed at Molineux, possibly the worst for several years in terms of excitement. It was a bit like a game of chess at times with both sides looking for the other to make a mistake.

O'Neil had obviously done his homework on Burnley, in that he had set his team up to draw out their press, and then hit them on the break, This in turn saw us playing the ball at times, dangerously around at the back, in an attempt to draw them out of formation. This lack of action incensed the home crowd who wanted action and the vocal dissatisfaction from the crowd activated some long clearances.

Hwang took his goal well, which came about by the away side trying to play out from the back and making a horlicks of it. We had several more close attempts on goal, but on a bitterly cold evening we were all happy to take the three points and head home.

On many previous occasions Wolves have succumbed to sides in the relegation zone, when we should have taken maximum points, so we must be thankful for the three points/ Three against Forest on Saturday could see us in a good league position come Christmas, well much better than last year.

A word for Bentley, two games now and two clean sheets.
