Now where did that come from and did Gibson starting make the difference or was it just a coincidence? Seems like Lee was on fire in that first half.

I have a sneaking suspicion that people have been told the door is wide open if they can't be bothered to do their job.

Its funny how a training session in Dumfries has worked wonders.

I haven't a clue what has happened by the way, - but it proves once again, - that they are more than capable of getting out of this league at the right end!

As Spike says, - you can't go from defeating Dundee Utd one week, - to a 0-5 thrashing the next, - followed by a 4-1 thumping of the opposition the next.

I know that football is a strange game which throws up some weird permutations, - but even an AI computer on speed, - couldn't come up with this!

I wonder if at the training session at Palmerston that the Chairman threw down the gauntlet?

Jeez jardi if our current chairman came up to me and threw down any gauntlet to me if I was manager I'd have got him told to shut up and throw down the cash instead lol .

The chairman has backed the manager 💰

Well that was a pleasant surprise! The big question is can they now produce this type of performance on a regular basis?

Trouble is, that’s the same question we were all asking two weeks ago.

Good result today but as a great philosopher once said, one swallow does not make a summer, or something like that. Sorry jardi I couldn’t help myself there.
I still maintain this team are nowhere near good enough to get out of this league. Yes a good result but as could be seen with Bayern Munich today, freak results happen.
I hope I am wrong but until this side start playing to there strengths then we will be back to the same crap. Gibson starting will no doubt have made a huge difference, but without being there I can’t really comment.
I for one am not going to get excited about this result as to much crap has been on display to get me excited after one win. Maybe three or four results like this on the spin will get me excited again but I suppose it’s a start.

No great philosopher Fatfan, - just a well known quote.

Boring fart that I am, - I'm working again on the computer and just needed some light relief..........I'm with you on this one, - I won't get remotely excited until at least 3 or 4 decent results (in a row) come in.

Got to 100% disagree with Francis and the Chairman though. The Chairman has every right to throw down the gauntlet (to the manager and the entire squad), - if only on behalf of the long suffering fans. He has been more than patient, - and most Chairmen would have got rid of Bartley months ago.
I always think its odd that the fans expect the Chairman to sack a manager when things are not going well, - but they don't think it right for him to stick his nose in and point out the error of his ways. In any other business, - you'd be in front of a disciplinary if you didn't provide a transparent trail, - so for me the Chairman should always intervene if things are not going well, - and my God, - this season has been appalling, - bar the 6 matches that we all know about.

There's still a long, long way to go, - but if you'll pardon me Fatfan, - there may be 'light at the end of the tunnel'!

What a result & performance at the weekend. I don’t anyone expected that.
Just watched the goals and it must be so frustrating for the manager knowing the players can do that but not on a more regular basis.
The next 3 games are not only massive for us but winnable. Finish the year on a high and you just never know what 2024 will bring
