    Brentford vs Villa

After two great wins at home coming away with a win away from home is our next challenge. We're one of the best teams in Europe at home but we really need to start nailing some wins away from home too. With Luiz and Digne out for this game I guess Mcginn or Tielemans will sit a bit deeper in the Luiz role and maybe Ramsey comes in on the middle right where Mcginn plays. Obviously Moreno will replace Digne so the team will look similar to the end of last season in a way. Bailey or Diaby depending on Baileys fitness. Still looks a good team though and thankfully Mbuemo is injured. Did Tilesman come off with an injury? Anyone know what happened there. We might have to use the Donk if not but to his credit did OK when he came on.

    Matinez
    Konza Carlos Pau Moreno
    Kamara Mcginn
    Bailey/Diaby Tilesman Ramsey
    Watkins

Brentford are in a slump at the minute but at home in front of their fans they will be right up for this one and they are good on their day. If you can win your home games and pick up points on the road that's usually enough for a CL spot, then it's about taking points off the teams around you to win it, we are now doing that. There will be some freak results this month as there are so many games for all teams so they will have to rotate, and suspensions will play a part too.

Moreno for Digne, Tielemans,Kamara,Ramsey,McGinn with Bailey & Watkins up top - hope we can get a couple of early goals on Thursday and then conserve energy.

I don't think we have enough to win it by the way, Liverpool for me have that knack and only lost to Spurs in controversial circumstances - they are the team to beat.

Dreamland indeed - my phone went mad after Man City!

Funny one this, we have a poor record at Brentford. I will be happy with a draw, maybe knick a 1-0???

Well that game will live in the memory for (mostly) the wrong reasons, we have still not figured out a way to beat a low block when its 11 vs 11, still a win's a win and another assist for Leon Bailey

Great result. The sending off let us off the hook but a very important win.

Think the team meeting might exceed the usual 1.5hours whilst Unai explains how not to get sucked into other teams ####housing antics! Nice to see the boys stand up for each other, shows how together they are, but, need to learn the art of not losing control at critical times. A great win though, and despite a telling off from the gaffer, they will be buzzing like all of us, take that feeling into the 3 christmas games and hopefully the player bans and injuries wont cost us. Up the ##cking Villa!!

I thought the red was a bit harsh. The lad he pushed was being quite aggressive with him prior to that when he was just trying to be a piece maker. Enough wad enough and he pushed him.
