Grimshaw uses the ball better than Freeman. He won't knock it forward if there's no pass on whereas Freeman often does.

Ponderous & pedestrian.
That's the two words I think sum up our performance last night.
We need to be doing EVERYTHING much more quickly and start working and testing the opposition from first minute to last.
Agree with the comments on Tony Watt. The guy was nowhere doing nothing of note for the whole game and should've been hooked and replaced by one of our young boys.
The alarm bells should be ringing loud and clear in the boardroom at Tannadice and the lesson learned last January MUST NOT BE REPEATED.
We need two or three in players in to bolster our chances of winning this league. But as it stands right now, I have an incling we are bound for the play-offs.
Neither of the two young boys (Mochrie and Glass) have been given a run of games so they can settle into the team. As soon one of them has a mediocre game they are out to be replaced by the other or Watt. Both have more mobility than Watt perhaps both lack a bit in experience but if yo don’t play you won’t learn and gain that experience. IMO Watt has had his chance let the youngsters get theirs.
Said at start of season if we are relying on Mochrie and Glass we would struggle , have seen nothing to change that opinion , that squad is wafer thin we badly need bodies in January , also as bad as Watt was and getting pelters for it , why is Middleton also not getting pelters ?? Vanished in the second half last night
Started bad and got worse , guys like him and Watt should be pissing this league can only put it down to a **** attitude
In fairness to Middleton, he was rotten at the start of the season, and fairly anon last night, but he has a lot of assists to his name, and him and McMann down the left has prob been the most consistent attacking outlet this season (prob only one too). I think the whole attitude thing around Watt just distracts from the fact he isn't very good - slow, one footed, doesn't score goals. Moult is meant to be our goalscorer, if he is out of sorts, we don't have many goals in that attacking four - Watt and Middleton have abysmal scoring records this season, Glass and Mochrie aren't goalscorers, Cujoe chipped in with a few early, and Fotheringam has been our main man. Prob our best bet last night was Holt from a corner. Even accounting for us being top scorers in the league, with some thumping wins when plan A works, how many times have Raith Rovers found a goal from somewhere injury time when it matters? We couldn't even find a goal in 90 mins again the bottom team. Stinking.
