If he manages to get a semi decent centre half in, then I think we can safely say that MO has learnt his lesson from last January!

I think we really need 2 in minimum. Centre half and someone who can control the game and find a pass like Docherty can because Docherty never seems to be fit.

January is a tough time to do that mind you. Loan market could be an option.

Fuchs back on loan and a centre half

I think centre half is a priority as otherwise we have no cover

Docherty has now missed more league games than he has played. Anyone know of his current status. I’m sure for a few weeks now Goodwin has said he should be ready the following week.

Docherty training, expected to be ready for Dunfermline. Meekison ditto. Gallagher surgery successful, due back 3-4 weeks.
Tillson ok, subbed as a precaution. Was filling in knowing he had a hamstring tweak.

“Ross Docherty trained a bit this week and, if he can come through this week fine, then we will be looking at Doc being nice and fresh for the beginning of next week,” confirmed Goodwin.

“Louis Moult has fully recovered from his hamstring. Archie Meekison was back involved last Friday night, so another good player for us to have included in the squad.

“And obviously Craig Sibbald will come back into the fold after his suspension. So, when the next league fixture comes around, we will be in a far healthier position.”

Promising anyway, it's an important two league games, home to Dunfermline then away to Ayr (while Raith play a cup game), we can really put pressure on them if we get the right results, then the next fixture for us is Friday night in Kirkcaldy

Good Sibbald back - there was debate over whether he had a one or two game ban but fortunately would appear to be the former.

According to Sky Sports. We are close to signing 22 yr centre back from Everton. Just terms to be agreed. He hasn’t played for first team but has come through the academy.
