Truth is, its down to all the injuries.

The players are totally knackered, and they wont find any form before april.

Almiron for me is the epitomy of NUFC just now. Huge heart, but lacking technical ability, runs all day but one footed, brilliant on his day but just not good enough overall. Top sides do not have players like him as automatic starters and our squad is nowhere near ready to compete consistently. That, along with the ridiculous injury situation has resulted in this season.
IMO Howe is not responsible and continues to do a cracking job. We’re lucky to have him.

Truely awful this month but only if it continued into April or May does his credit begin to run out for me. Free hit cqrd still stands thus season fir me. He's had shocking luck with injuries.

He has had bad luck with injuries but also played players into the ground until they became injured. When we had a fully fit squad there was plenty of times we could of rotated and didn't. I love Howe and what he's done for us but certain negative parts to his management don't have to be overlooked because of how well he's done. We also try and play the same fu(King tactic even with all our injuries. It clearly doesn't work yet we keep doing it. To play the Howe way we need more or less a fully fit squad because it's such a high paced tactic. We seem to have no plan B and that's what worries me.

You raise a good point regarding formation and tactics. We have got to have different options when we need them either due to injuries or adapting to in game situations. Have we seen much evidence of this?

Not having a pop by the way.

Perhaps when we have a full luxurious squad in 3 years time this may not be a question.

I agree he needs to shoulder some of the blame but the injuries have affected every aspect of what we do.

Never ever known it to be as bad and they've finally caught up with us.
That may be so zip.. however...

Get beat off the mackems and he has to go for me.. I STILL want to give him the next 2 windows, but the games against Forest and Luton have been horrendous.. I can understand Chelsea, Milan etc.. but not those 2..

Liverpool on new years day he has another free jit from me a they're class this season.. but it all comes down to the sunderland game in my eyes

It’s a banana skin for us, if we win, we’ll we should have won, if we don’t then, I think our owner will be having serious discussions about Eddie, nothing surprises me in this game now “ it’s a results industry” how many times have we heard that.

It's down to injuries and only that, if it were not for the injuries a) players would not have to play game after game and be burnt out as in the likes of Gordon and Miggy, and b) there would be the luxury of being able to make tactical changes instead of waiting for the next injury to make a substitution.

Derby game's a one off for me, Tut. Anything can happen. We lost away to a Chimpo team last year (or were they even League 1then?)

The fact we're going into it on the back of this appalling run means that my expectations are not high anyway.
