Gutted I suppose. He did a fantastic job last season. The defensive situation has been a bit of a joke this one, but you’d hope he’d have at least partially sorted it in Jan.

Hope we get the full compo we’re entitled to.

It should be the other way around but as Williams has a very long contract and Swansea want him, it puts us in a very strong negotiating position

Need them focused on playing. Heard Warnock is out of a job...be a huuuuuge deviation and way below his usual level but until the end of the season as someone who missed out on his promotions I would love it.

There’s no way of dressing this one up we’re losing the best manager we’ve had in years who’s widely respected by his players. Tough appointment now for the owners and clubs will also be circling now for our best players sensing we’re unstable.

Yeah it’s not great but he was always going to be in demand and a club two leagues higher is bound to interest him plus his salary will be at least double/treble I’d imagine.

I hope the club are aware of this move last week and we already have someone lined up ready to step in for Grimsby match.

This will be a massive test of the bros & ceo who only last week said we are under no pressure to do this or that. Was he priming us for this news if true
