    Unlucky today

Really unlucky today,if we can play like that, then there is a little bit of light at the end of the tunnel. Nothing went our way with another p!ss poor ref.. As for VAR it wants kicking into touch . Bah humbug..

Foster was superb today and didn't deserve to be on the losing side. 😕

You played great today against a strong team.
I get the impression that VK isn't too bothered about the results, more about the team's development - and if today's performance was anything to go by you're certainly heading in the right direction IMO.
If you can stay off the player's backs and keep the faith it'll all be good.

I agree Alf-Foster was immense but we were sloppy again in defense.Berge was a fool to give the ref a decision to make but even more foolish was the throw in from Taylor which led to the red card.
Lots of huff and puff but Villa could and should have scored six or seven if we are honest with ourselves.

But they didn't so it took a sending off and a soft and raggy penalty to beat us. Seems like the team did us proud against the team that is now second and were playing on their own turf.

Make no bones about it Villa a re a very good side with some excellent players and yes we could have conceded a few especially with 10 men- however we look dangerous and a different proposition again with Foster occupying centre backs.
Defensively though we aren’t tight enough to win - close out teams.
Until we sort that we’ll keep conceding poor goals , midfield - wide players let runners go too much and good teams exploit that.

They only just scraped a draw with the Blades a few days back.

How was that shirt tug merited a second yellow? Bollox! Never a penalty either.

I mentioned this only a couple of days ago on another thread, can't remember the ref now but a player pulled another one back...free-kick, five minutes later, a player pulled another one back...free-kick and yellow card. It's farcical, there is no consistency, decisions seem to be made on a whim.

I was more peed off by the blatant handball preventing Foster from getting a clear shot on goal. That was feckin obvious. It is totally corrupted.
