And by the same logic, we shouldn't feel bad for him until we actually know what happened. Or at the very least apply the same logic on behalf the alleged victim; how must she not have felt the last 18 months if this is all true?

The problem with those sort of cases is that usually there are only two people who know the entire truth, and to get a conviction the evidence has to be totally conclusive to convince the jury, (even then judgement mistakes are made).

If there is the slightest element of doubt in the evidence, or the belief of it, by a jury then the case is dismissed.

Out of all cases dismissed, I personally would assume the majority of defendants may be fortunate as it's difficult to imagine, in most cases, a woman prepared to put herself through this humiliating procedure.

Yes - good point. Another gold digger with nothing to lose like the Neymar one. They think they’re in for a long term relationship but the player’s just after a bit of fun and they get vengeful when they find out.
The worst of all is the effect on women who really have been raped. Less likely to come forward now - very sad and women who try this on should be hung out to dry.

The problem is that it's difficult to prove either way. As I said in a previous post there are usually only two persons who know the entire truth.
