The good lady watched it yesterday and said it was very upsetting how the government treated folk.

    Aim to watch it soon.

To be honest I nearly switched it off after 30mins not because it’s not good but how innocent people can be made to feel like criminals.

We are watching the series, absolute travisty how the Post Office treated the post masters / mistresses.
To me how the series is panning out the computer firm & the Post Office hiarachy want to be held to
account, & get a custodial sentence.
Total denial by the Post Office on how many people were getting affected by the computer errors,
innocent people getting a prison sentence, mental issues & even self-harm by the victims.
With the victims also losing their life-savings, due to the short-falls on their accounting, made that
they had to cover the said short-falls in their contracts.

Toby Jones plays a brilliant Mr Bates in the series.

The worst of is several pleaded guilty to avoid prison.

They will be last in the payout line.
Post office were quick enough to prosecute, but not to compensate.

Indeed. That's by the far the most horrific thing about this. Being so beaten by the system that you were choosing the hard place over the rock.

Yet we let people who murder someone while driving get 18months. Insanity.

Well, more about how the Post Office treated folk rather than the government ( who were far from blameless) but a good watch nevertheless
