    Luke Ayling

Having a medical sometime this morning at M'Boro on loan for the rest of the season so basically his time with us is up!

    Absolute legend in my opinion.

Always gave his all and was a major player for us in the glorious Bielsa era.

Never forget that goal against Huddersfield and the many now legendry Ayling flops

Also that interview he did after the Forest game when we lost 2-0 was quite poignant.

Good luck Luke lad you leave a legend.

Agree with all of this Rev. You can ask for no more than a player giving it everything when on the pitch.

His name will go on the list of players that will always be remembered fondly by all at Elland Road. 👍

The guys who got us promoted a few seasons ago will all have a special place, for them to do what so many others failed to do speaks volumes, hope the club have something planned for him once his loan finishes

and to think he came to us just after the country had voted for Brexit at a cost of £200k from Bristol City, along with Pablo and Stuart Dallas one of Gary Monk's better signings

He will always be associated with the team Marcelo got promoted and some of the happiest times at ER this century.

One thing I always noticed about him.

when we were having that nightmare season last year he sometimes seemed to be the only one who was upset at the end of the game.

Wish the best for him but really wish he wasn't going to boro. Think that one might come back to bite us.

Got caught out a few times last year but always gave his all, and would still do a good job now if called upon, was always emotional after a defeat, wouldn't be unhappy even now if he was our right back, bit sad he's going, we'll soon have no full backs left, spence gone, ayling gone, byram injured, hope farke has someone coming in, otherwise firpo will be our main full back, god forbid.

Love Bill. The perfect signing at the right time and a true professional throughout his time with us.

Be sad to see him go, but I wish him all the very best in whatever his next challenge might be and, at least as far as I’m concerned, he’ll always be welcome at ER.
